Reports to:  General Superintendent

Roles & Responsibilities

Description: The Superintendent role works closely in conjunction with the Project Manager to manage daily construction site activities to keep projects on schedule and on budget, reporting to the Project Manger regarding project-specific tasks. The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Supervision and direction of all onsite contractors/sub-contractors/suppliers etc.
  • Develop site logistics plan for temporary conditions and maintain updated staging and logistics throughout project, including planning and coordination for final removal
  • Conduct weekly coordination/scheduling meetings with subcontractors.
  • Produce and update a 3-Week Look Ahead Schedule for each onsite weekly coordination meeting and Action Item list to track assignment and completion of critical items
  • Coordination and scheduling of project subcontractors and vendors to arrive on jobsite as required to maintain project schedule
  • Oversee and direct self-performed trades, managing daily tasks, timesheets and monitoring of production and labor costs to allowable budget
  • Manage receipt of direct purchase materials and services, collecting and coding delivery tickets and receipts. Ensure tickets are turned in to the office for processing of invoices

Roles & Responsibilities

Description: The foreman role works under and reports directly to the jobsite superintendent, providing direct hands-on management of onsite crews, self-performing miscellaneous tasks as needed and supporting the Superintendent with required onsite administrative duties.   The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

Roles & Responsibilities

Description: The Project Manager role works in conjunction with the Project Executive to oversee projects as they are nearing the design development stage to take the project through the buyout stage and manage the implementation phase of the construction project.  The responsibilities of this position are as follows:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for ownership, local support services providers, property managers, state and local agencies and other project stakeholders during the construction phase.
  • Assist during preconstruction phase to provide constructability analysis, budgeting support, schedule review and input as required.
  • Solicit subcontractors during preconstruction to provide budgeting and constructability input during design.
  • Manage bid and procurement process including:
  • Create project-specific bid packages from standard scopes of work
  • Develop front-end requirements for bidders from standard templates, including definitions of responsibility for temporary conditions, insurance, schedule requirements, safety, site logistics, rules and regulations specific to each project

ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER/PROJECT ENGINEER - SPRINGFIELD, MO

The Vecino Group is seeking an engineer project manager or project engineer with a desire to help in our mission to create developments for the greater good—through a variety of multi-family housing and mixed use projects, both new construction and historic renovations across the country. Our need is for a team member who has experience in MEP engineering with strong emphasis on electrical.  This position requires preparation of design calculations, product selections, the creation of construction documents, and construction administration experience.
We are a vertically integrated development company – a creative and mission based family that sees projects from creation to operation.

Must haves:

  • 5+ years of post-bachelors degree engineering experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree from a NCEES accredited school
  • Background in MEP design within multi-family and light-commercial disciplines.  Structural experience is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred.
  • Experience at all stages of design including design, systems selections, planning, technical documentation, construction administration, and leadership/mentorship skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD is required.  Experience with Revit is a plus

  • Ability to work remotely and independently from corporate office in a virtual environment and/or interact with others working remotely. Frequent visits to the jobsite will be required once construction begins, with pre and post construction work from a remote location or an office setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Proficient use of Procore software
  • Adaptability for introduction and implementation of new software and systems/templates for operational improvement and efficiency
  • Travel as needed
  • High degree of customer service and communication skills. This position requires frequent communication with all project stakeholders with exchange of reliable information in a timely fashion.

ARCHITECT PROJECT MANAGER/PROJECT ARCHITECT - SALT LAKE CITY, UT

The Vecino Group is seeking an architect project manager or project architect with a desire to help in our mission to create developments for the greater good—through a variety of multi-family housing and mixed use projects, both new construction and historic renovations across the country. Our need is for a team member who has experience in architectural project management, the creation of construction documents, and construction administration experience.
We are a vertically integrated development company – a creative and mission based family that sees projects from creation to operation.

Must haves:

  • 5+ years of post-bachelors degree architectural firm experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree from a NAAB accredited school
  • Experience at all stages of design including conceptual design, programming, planning, technical documentation, project management, construction administration, and leadership/mentorship skills
  • Experience with Revit
  • Experience with multifamily or hospitality design
